Why would I want to be a Chirurgeon?
|
Most Chirurgeons provide
first aid to others because they can make the SCA world a little
bit better place. They see Chirurgeons helping others and say,
"I can do that!" They get satisfaction in the smile
of a little girl whose scrape is now OK, and the smile of her mother doesn't hurt. Many have medical skills they want to use in the SCA. Many have none when they start, but get Basic First Aid and CPR. Your certifications will teach you the first aid you need and your on the job training will teach you what you need to handle yourself in the SCA. Finally, as a Chirurgeon you become part of a guild of people who have fun providing an important service to their community. |
